Both of my parents sited this as the most exciting political moment of their lives. Personally, I have never before felt proud to be an American. While casting my vote for Obama this morning, I felt free.

PS: there are now 17 WOMEN on the Senate!!!

(I hope California pulls through by voting no on 8 and 4 … right now I’m feeling pretty nervous)
